NORRIS, Judge.

This is a suit alleging medical malpractice in the treatment of a broken wrist. The plaintiff, Dalton Stephens, took his claim to a medical review panel, pursuant to LSA-R.S. 40:1299.41 et seq. The panel ruled that the defendant, Dr. DeLoach, did not fail to meet the standard of care of a general surgeon and that his conduct was not a factor in the asserted resultant damages. Stephens proceeded with his case to a jury trial; his workers compensation carrier intervened.
