The National Surety Corporation (National) appeals from a grant of a motion for summary judgment by the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico in an interpleader action brought by the Oceanus Mutual Underwriting Association (Bermuda) Ltd. (Oceanus). Oceanus, as part of its interpleader action, had posted a bond underwritten by National.
