Tbis is an action by tbe plaintiff for actionable negligence against tbe defendant Armour Fertilizer "Works, a corporation under tbe laws of New Jersey, for personal injuries alleged to bave been sustained. Tbe defendant, after due notice, giving required bond, etc., filed a petition for tbe removal of tbe action from tbe State court to tbe United States Court for tbe Eastern District of North Carolina, on tbe ground of diversity of citizenship, tbe amount sued for being $19,700.
