“Plaintiff’s action is to recover a penalty for the sale of cocaine, to wit: hydro-chlorate, to wit: a preparation containing cocaine, made on, to wit: the seventeenth day of November, A. D. 1906, at the city of Chicago, without then and there having the written prescription of a licensed physician or a licensed dentist licensed under the laws of the state of Illinois, in violation of the provisions of paragraphs 32A and 32B, chapter 91, of the Revised Statutes of the State of Illinois, being section 14A and 14B of an Act entitled, ‘An Act to regulate…
