Eusebio Saldana appeals from a judgment sentencing him to seven years’ imprisonment in the penitentiary for voluntary manslaughter.

The evidence for the prosecution showed that Saldaña, a weak, sick, and old man, shattered the skull of Alejandro Delgado by heating him with a piece of bamboo.
