(after stating the facts). Counsel for appellant rely upon the case of Willey & Brothers v. State, ex rel. Attorney General, 178 Ark. 662, 12 S. W. (2d) 17, for a reversal of the judgment. They claim that, under the principles of law decided in that case, the circuit court erred in not directing a verdict for the State for the amount sued.for, which represented the balance due the State for the hire of the convicts during- the time they were worked by appellee.
