The investigating police officer testified that appellee left 38 feet of skid marks prior to the impact, that he was traveling at approximately 35 m.p.h. in a 45-m.p.h. zone, that the weather conditions were good, that appellee knocked the Hansen vehicle approximately 14 feet into the rear of a Dodge van which, in turn, was knocked 13 feet into a Volkswagen. It cost approximately $4,000 to repair the Hansen automobile. Visibility was unobstructed approximately 500 feet before the intersection.
