This is a libel suit, in which a judgment for the plaintiff in the Essex Circuit Court is brought before us by an appeal. We are therefore not concerned with questions of weight of evidence or amount of damages; and inasmuch as there was no motion to nonsuit or to direct a verdict for the defendant, and as the case was submitted to the jury after a careful and comprehensive charge by the trial judge to which there was no exception, and as the court specifically charged all the defendant’s requests except the fifth, which was charged with a…
