The appellant, Mrs. E. J. Green, filed her bill in the chancery court against the Hartford Fire Insurance Company and the Stanley Insurance Agency, a partnership, seeking to enforce an oral contract to keep a house belonging to her insured, and to renew the insurance thereon when it should expire, which contract is alleged to have been made with her by the Stanley insurance Agency. A loss by fire having occurred, she now seeks to enforce, the oral agreement.
