Restivo v. Degnan

The petition, as originally filed herein, sought an order in the nature of prohibition to restrain the Police Justice of the City of Lockport from issuing a summons directed to a prospective defendant and from issuing subpoenas for the examination of witnesses in a proceeding now pending in the Police Court upon an information filed by the petitioner. Subsequently, by an amendment of the petition to which reference will be made later, the prayer for relief was expanded.
