Jesus Salgado pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute heroin. At sentencing, over Salgado's objection, the district court applied an aggravating role enhancement and calculated the Guidelines range to be 210 to 262 months' imprisonment. The court sentenced Salgado below that range, to 192 months' imprisonment. It explained, however, that even if it were wrong on the enhancement's application, it would have imposed the same sentence.
