This action in assumpsit arises from a recognizance signed by defendant in the amount of $5,000 and given as security for compliance with an order of court entered by the Court of Quarter Sessions of Montgomery County in 1932 for the support of defendant’s daughter. No payment was ever made by defendant on this support order. As of June 14, 1946, at which time the daughter became self-supporting, the arrearage under the order amounted to $3,360.
