ORDER

NORGLE, District Judge.

Before the court is defendant Subaru of America, Inc.’s 1 (“Subaru of America") notice of removal pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1446. For the following reasons, the court sua sponte remands the case to the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. 2

FACTS

According to the complaint, plaintiff Maria Navarro (“Navarro”) was a passenger in a 1982 Subaru sedan driven by Robert Johnston (“Johnston”). Allegedly, Subaru of America either designed, manufactured, distributed, or sold the vehicle. In July 1992, as a result of a fracture of the inner arm of the left rear suspension…
