Election contest. Clarence R. Lane, an elector of Rosebud county, contests the right of Charles W. Bailey to hold the office of county clerk. Bailey and one Roderick McRae were opposing candidates for the office, Bailey being the democratic, and McRae the republican, candidate. The canvassing board found that B:ailey had received a majority of the votesi oast for the office of county clerk, and declared him elected.
