LOKEN, Circuit Judge.
Aurelio Abrica-Sanchez pleaded guilty to violating 8 U.S.C. § 1326(a), illegally reentering the United States after removal. The district court 1 determined that his prior conviction for domestic assault was a felony, which increased the statutory maximum sentence to ten years in prison, see 8 U.S.C. § 1326(b)(1), and resulted in an advisory guidelines range of 15 to 21 months in prison.
