Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court (Lomanto, J.), entered April 14, 1994 in Schenectady County, which granted defendants’ motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.
Plaintiff was injured in a two-vehicle automobile accident on October 1, 1986. Plaintiff retained defendants to represent him on October 3, 1986; although defendants prepared a verified summons and complaint, dated September 6, 1989, service was not completed prior to the expiration of the Statute of Limitations.
