TORRUELLA, Circuit Judge.
Petitioner Gen Tota (“Tota”) petitions for review of the Board of Immigration Appeals’ (“BIA”) summary affirmance of an Immigration Judge’s (“IJ”) denial of his applications for asylum and withholding of removal. 1 We affirm.
I. Background
Tota is a native and citizen of Albania who entered the United States on April 6, 2000 without a valid entry document. On December 13, 2000, Tota filed an 1-589 Application seeking asylum and withholding of removal.
