OPINION

BIVINS, Judge.

Plaintiff Clara Pena filed suit against defendant Westland Development Co., Inc. (Westland) following a shareholder election selecting Westland’s board of directors. The trial court appointed a special master to tabulate the results and categorize challenges to a number of shareholder proxies. Following the special master proceedings, Barbara Page and Polecarpio Anaya were joined as plaintiffs on the trial court’s own motion.
