In this workers’ compensation action, an administrative law judge (“ALJ”) for the State Board of Workers’ Compensation denied Kimberly Patterson’s claim for benefits after finding that Patterson did not show by a preponderance of the evidence that she sustained an injury arising out of and in the course of her employment. After the Board affirmed the decision of the ALJ, Patterson appealed to the Superior Court of Bibb County.
