This action was brought by plaintiff, Alois Zydeek, to recover damages for injuries sustained by him as the result of the alleged negligence of the defendant, Chicago & Northwestern Bailway Company, in starting one of its trains while he was boarding same. The case was tried before the court and a jury. A verdict .was returned finding defendant guilty and assessing plaintiff’s damages at $15,000.
