OPINION

MURRAY, Justice.

A Superior Court jury found Robert E. Girouard (Girouard) guilty of one count of first degree child molestation sexual assault. He appeals his conviction. We affirm.

The defendant was charged with two counts. The first count was first degree child molestation sexual assault in violation of G.L. 1956 (1981 Reenactment) §§ 11-37-8.1 and 11-37-8.2, as enacted by P.L. 1984, ch. 59, § 2.
