COLLINGS, Justice.

Oil Belt Supply Company and others brought suit in the District Court of Coleman County against Jim Thomas to recover the sum of $6,339.98, which plaintiffs alleged defendant was obligated to pay by virtue of a letter written by Thomas to the First Coleman National Bank, Coleman, Texas. Thomas filed a plea of privilege to be sued in Dallas County, the place of his residence.
