{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Peter V. Lee Jr., appeals his conviction from the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas for operating a vehicle under the influence.

*222{¶ 2} On December 18, 2009, a trooper from the Ohio State Highway Patrol initiated a traffic stop of appellant’s vehicle after observing the vehicle traveling 89 m.p.h. in an area with a posted speed limit of 65 m.p.h.
