Common Cause and other named plaintiffs allege that the Federal Election Commission (Commission) has failed to act upon their complaint that the American Medical Association through affiliated political action committees including the American Medical Political Action Committee (AMPAC) has violated the Federal Election Campaign Act, 2 U.S.C. § 431 et seq.
