_JjThis criminal appeal arises from the 42nd Judicial District Court, DeSoto Parish, the Honorable Charles B. Adams presiding. The defendant, Davis L. Jackson, pled guilty to attempted manslaughter and was sentenced to 15 years at hard labor. The defendant now appeals, arguing that his sentence is excessive. For the following reasons, this court affirms the defendant’s conviction and sentence.
