This cause was instituted on February 28, 1961, by Henry F. Stolfi, appellant, against his wife, Maxine M. Stolfi, for a divorce a mensa et thoro on the ground of wilful desertion. The wife filed an answer denying the desertion, and a cross-bill charging cruelty on the part of her husband and praying that a divorce a mensa, et thoro be granted her. She asked for the custody of the two children of the marriage, permanent alimony for herself, and an allowance for the maintenance and support of the children.
