pon May 9, 2007, the Jefferson Parish District Attorney filed a bill of information charging defendant, Carolyn Nelson, with possession of cocaine (Count 1) and possession of alprazolam (Count 2) in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967 C and R.S. 40:969 C, respectively. 1 Defendant was arraigned on May 10, 2007, and pled not guilty. On June 20, 2008, defendant withdrew her not guilty plea and pled guilty as charged.
