J. J. Stokes and a number of other taxpaying citizens and residents of Wise county, Tex., instituted this suit to enjoin what is termed a sale of $150,000 of road bonds of road district No. 2 in said county. Except as hereinafter noted, it is undisputed that road district No. 2, situated in the northwest corner of Wise county, was regularly established and laid out, and that thereafter and therein an election was regularly ordered and conducted, at which the commissioners’ court of Wise county was, by the vote of the district, authorized to issue and sell $150,000 of bonds for tlie district,…
