POSNER, Circuit Judge.

Four defendants in adversary actions brought by a trustee in bankruptcy ask us for leave to appeal to this court directly from the bankruptcy court. We may grant leave if the bankruptcy court has certified, so far as pertains to this case, that the ruling sought to be appealed from “involves a question of law as to which there is no controlling decision of the court of appeals for the circuit or of the Supreme Court.” 28 U.S.C. § 158(d)(2)(A)®, (B)(i).
