This proceeding was brought by Southern Pacific Company to review an order of the Public Utilities Commission.
On April 15, 1950, the company filed an application with the commission for the approval of its proposal to discontinue the operation of its midday passenger trains, “The Statesman” and “The Governor,” running between Oakland Pier and Sacramento.
