Pursuant to a plea bargain, defendant pleaded guilty to a violation of Neb. Rev. Stat. § 28-319 (Reissue 1979), first degree sexual assault, and Neb. Rev. Stat. § 28-310 (l)(b) (Reissue 1979), assault in the third degree, which violations provide for penalties of from 1 year to 50 years’ imprisonment, and of not more than 1 year’s imprisonment, respectively. Defendant was sentenced to concurrent terms of from 7 to 10 years’ imprisonment on the sexual assault charge and 1 year’s imprisonment on the third degree assault, with credit given for all time served in jail preceding sentencing.
