This case, from its inception until the final decree, was in court for a period of ten years. It began as an ejectment suit by M. E. Coleman against Mrs. F. A. White in the circuit court. After the judge, without a jury, had heard the evidence, by agreement of the parties and the judge, it was transferred to the chancery court. In that court, Mrs. White, by her original and amended bills, prayed for the correction and reformation of her deed, and for the cancellation of the deeds, through which Coleman claimed title. The evidence, adduced in the circuit court, was transcribed and filed.…
