This was a suit by Mrs. Dollmeyer against Mrs. Corning, for slander. The declaration set out the utterance by defendant concerning plaintiff of language imputing that plaintiff had stolen certain articles of personal property out of defendant’s trunk, which charge was alleged to be false and malicious.
