Plaintiff contracted with the United States government to construct and furnish all labor and material therefor, thirteen double noncommissioned officers’ headquarters at Barksdale Field, Bossier parish, L'a. A subcontract for painting the buildings was given to defendant, Gossett & Winn, a co-partnership domiciled in Ouachita parish, La., composed of R. A. Gossett and I. Z. Winn, residents thereof, for the faithful performance of which and for payment of all labor and material bills incurred in connection therewith, a bond in favor of plaintiff was executed, with the…
