As asked to do, the court has carefully reconsidered its decision heretofore made in this cause, and fairly weighed the several objections that have been urged against it. The result of our present deliberations is to confirm us in the conviction that the law governing the case was then properly expounded, and that the principles then enunciated, as those which should regulate the rights and liabilities of the parties, are just in themselves, and supported by the very highest authorities.
