This is a proceeding based on a grand juror’s complaint to a justice for the seizure and condemnation of intoxicating liquor kept for sale contrary to law. The officer seizing the liquor apprehended and brought before the justice, Edward Morrissey and Thomas Morrissey, in whose keeping and custody he found the same. Merle S. Pike appeared before the justice and filed his written claim to the liquor as absolute owner thereof, and therein gave as a reason why it should.not be adjudged forfeited that he was engaged in the lawful sale thereof under and by virtue of a second-class license duly…
