OPINION OF THE COURT

2Per curiam

Respondent Steven H. Gifis was admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York by the First Judicial Department *106on March 5, 1973. He was also admitted to practice as an attorney and counselor-at-law in New Jersey.

On September 23, 1998, the Supreme Court of New Jersey disbarred respondent for, inter alia, the knowing misappropriation of escrow funds belonging to three different clients.
