This is an action at law. It appears from the record that the plaintiff is trustee for the estate of Edward Fifer, who was adjudged a bankrupt on March 19, 1921. The effort of the complaint is to recover from the defendant the value of the stock of goods, wares, merchandise and provisions and sundry utensils belonging to a restaurant kept by Fifer at Ontario, Oregon, - which the plaintiff as trustee claims to have been transferred to the defendant by the bankrupt within four months before the filing of the petition in bankruptcy, the latter being then insolvent, the transfer then…
