Appellee, a citizen of Washington, brought an action against appellant, a New York corporation, for $22,495 on a policy of insurance issued to appellee by appellant. The action was commenced in a State court of Washington, but, on petition of appellant, was removed from that court to the District Court of the United States for the Eastern District of Washington.
