Cross appeals from a judgment of the County Court of Washington County (Hemmett, Jr., J.), rendered November 2, 1994, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of criminally negligent homicide (two counts) and reckless driving.

Defendant initially contends that the verdict is not supported by legally sufficient evidence (see, People v Bleakley, 69 NY2d 490, 495). We cannot agree. The proof, viewed in the light most favorable to the People (see, People v Thompson, 72 NY2d 410, 413), reveals that defendant, having consumed in excess of six beers, left her fiance’s home at…
