{¶ 1} Richard Amey appeals his conviction for voluntary manslaughter, which included a three-year firearm specification. For the following reasons, we affirm.

{¶ 2} Before the shooting that formed the basis of the conviction, Amey was attacked by the victim, La'Dale Davis. The fight began when Amey accompanied Janice Gresham, Davis's former girlfriend, through her apartment complex. Davis believed that Amey was in a romantic relationship with Gresham.
