CARR, District Judge.
This case began as a suit by the plaintiff, Grupo Condumex S.A. de C.V. (Condu-mex), a Mexican manufacturer of motor vehicle parts, against SPX Corporation and Dana Corporation, United States motor vehicle parts manufacturers. Condu-mex and SPX were joint venturers in a Mexican auto parts manufacturer, Promo-tora de Industrias Mecánicas, S.A. de C.V. (Pr ornee). SPX held its Pr ornee shares in a subsidiary, Sealed Power Technologies Corporation of Nevada (SP Nevada), which, in turn, was a part of SPX’ Sealed Power Division.
