— In a negligence action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendant appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Hurowitz, J.), dated March 8, 1985, as, upon a jury verdict, is against him and in favor of the plaintiffs on the issue of liability.
Judgment reversed insofar as appealed from, on the law and as an exercise of discretion in the interest of justice, with costs, and new trial granted, with costs to abide the event.
