This controversy has pursued a long and devious course before its arrival in this Court, as will be seen upon the following review of the record.

Delphise Langlois died on June 13, 1942. On July 16, 1942, the Probate Court appointed two commissioners to receive, examine and adjust claims against his estate, and allowed the period of six months from that date as the time during which such claims were to be presented to them, as provided by P.
