COFFIN, Senior Circuit Judge.
Pedro Pablo Benavente Gomez and Guillermo Cerda Rodriguez were convicted of conspiring to import nearly 5000 grams of cocaine into the United States in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 963. Cerda also was convicted on the underlying crimes of importation of cocaine and use of a communication facility to import cocaine. See 21 U.S.C. §§ 952(a), 843(b). On appeal, defendant Benavente claims there was insufficient evidence to support the verdict against him.
