In cause number 1195093D, a jury convicted Appellant Tywron Pierre Thomas, also known as Tyrone Pierre Thomas, of committing capital murder by shooting Daniel Rojas with a firearm in the course of committing robbery at a Valero gas station. The trial court sentenced Appellant to a mandatory life sentence.
