My convictions compel me to dissent from tbe judgment of a majority of my brethren, .and, as I regard it a matter of vital importance to tbe profession of tbe law, I will give my reasons as briefly as I can.

These two applicants have each filed a certificate that he is a person of good moral character, sigued by two attorneys of repute. Notwithstanding this, other reputable and high-standing members of. our profession protest against licensing these applicants upon the ground that they are men of bad character and unworthy to fill the responsible position of attorney at law, and they offer us…
