Mikoll, J. Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Broome County (Esworthy, J.), entered December 13, 1989, which granted petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to Family Court Act article 6, for custody of Michael Gitchell.
The issue presented for review in this appeal is whether Family Court properly ordered a transfer of custody of the child from respondent to petitioner.
