Plaintiff, a duly chartered Louisiana corporation, organized for the purpose of engaging in the business of transportation of freight, mail and express as a common carrier in intrastate commerce, brought this suit for the expropriation of an overhead crossing over the line of the defendant, Missouri Pacific Railroad Company, an interstate trunk line railroad, and Guy A. Thompson, Trustee in reorganization proceedings of the said railroad company, pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
