delivered the opinion of the court:

Defendant Michael A. Clark appeals from the sentence entered upon his negotiated plea of guilty to a felony offense. We vacate the sentence imposed and remand.

On December 22, 1988, pursuant to a plea agreement, defendant pleaded guilty to the offense of communicating with a witness (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, par. 32—4(b)), a Class 4 felony.
